Deauville 6th Green Awards: CNDH participates in International Festival of Film Productions on sustainability and eco-innovations

The National Human Rights Council of Morocco (CNDH) participates in the International Festival of Film Productions on sustainability and eco-innovations on 27- 28 June 2017 in Deauville, France. Morocco will be the guest of honour, as it holds the presidency of the COP 22.

The CNDH will be represented by Ms. Najat El Mekkaoui De Fretas, member of the Council, and will grant Morocco’s special award to the winner.

The Deauville 6th Green Awards will highlight the achievements and the efforts made by Morocco for protecting the environment. Therefore, emphasis will be put on renewable energy, national natural parks, efforts for an ecological mobility, and campaigns to protect the environment.

This festival will be an opportunity to organize Moroccan film screenings on the environment, including institutional, promotional or documentary films.
