Human Rights and Postage Stamps

The Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH), the Poste Maroc, the UN Information Office and Morocco’s section of Amnesty International, commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by organizing an itinerant exhibition of postage stamps and human rights in Rabat on Decemeber 16, 2008, Tangier on Decemeber 22, 2008 and Oujda, in late January.

On this occasion, the Poste Maroc issued a special stamp that will be presented at the opening ceremony of the exhibition on December 16, 2008, at Mohamed V theatre, Rabat, at 4 pm.

The opening of the exhibition will be attended by the CCDH President, Mr Ahmed Herzenni, the Director General of the Poste Maroc, Mr Anas Alami, the UNDP Resident Representative in Morocco, Mr Mourad Wahba, and Mr Mohamed Sektaoui, the Director General of the Morocco’s section of Amnesty International.
