CNDH participates in Festival du Printemps Agdal-Riyad entitled: Openness and Coexistence with Our Intangible Cultural Heritage

The National Human Rights Council (CNDH) participated in the Sixteenth Chapter of the Festival du Printemps Agdal-Riyad, organized by the Agdal-Riyad District Council in Rabat, Morocco, from 18 to 30 July 2023, entitled "Openness and Coexistence with Our Intangible Cultural Heritage".

Within this context, the CNDH hosted, on Thursday 20 July 2023, an interactive workshop on "Children’s Protection and Safe Use of the Internet". This event was an occasion to teach children the importance of preserving their safety when using the Internet and preventing the dangers that they may face in the digital space.

The CNDH also participated in a visit to the Maison de l’Enfant at the Children's Hospital in Rabat, during which the students of Al Imam Chafii School performed theatrical shows entitled "Chaalo Daw" (Turn on the light), "Hayat" (Life) and "Baraka" (Enough).

These performances address the fundamental rights of the child, including the right to education, the right to life, the right to health, etc. They aim at bringing joy to children and their families and alleviating their suffering.

Children's mothers and their guardians participated in this event.

Emphasizing the efforts made to ensure this cultural festival’s success, Mr. Abdelilah El Bouzidi, Head of the Agdal-Riyad District Council, indicated that several partners, including the CNDH, participated in this event, which was part of an extensive and varied program that includes artistic evenings and intellectual/cultural seminars.
