Strategic Directions 2019-2021
The Strategic Directions aims to define a coordinated Action Plan that would address the current challenges regarding the human rights situation in Morocco. It aims to ensure the effective promotion and protection of human rights.
Mrs. Amina Bouayach, President of the Council, indicates that the strategy on the effectiveness of rights defines the Council’s mission, vision, reference, and areas of work. This strategy has been elaborated for the Council to be:
- An effective and accessible redress mechanism: to receive citizens and hear their rights claiming;
- A space for purposeful debate to promote urgent human rights issues;
- A framework to develop preventive measures through mediation and proactive intervention to prevent human rights violations.
- An institution that will say what it does and will do what it says by developing best practices in addressing human rights issues.
